Side control attacks with Team Stambowsky

On Sat…we enjoyed another awesome seminar from Master Marcio Stambowsky. I co-hosted the seminar w/ Rob Magao at his dojo (Bushido BJJ) for the second time and once again everyone left w/ a bag full of priceless adjustments, new tricks, and smiles. Thanks to Marcio, Brad, and Tiago for making the trip up to teach. And thanks to everyone who supported the seminar. From our studio we had John, Big Chris, Mersh, Rich, and Stephany.

The seminar began w/ a warmup in Ginastica Natural exercises. Then we jumped up and drilled a very cool tripping takedown to side control. Marcio covered 4 variations of side position with a variety of chokes and armbars in each. I won’t go into too much detail here but will be going way into them over the next few weeks at my classes.
